The transaction comprises a core part of Skovbo Data’s software and service activities within the Danish church sector and marks a new chapter for a business with more than 40 years of experience in the market.
Founded in 1981, Skovbo Data has built a strong niche position among Danish churches and cemeteries over several decades. Today, the company serves more than 300 churches and cemeteries and has developed extensive knowledge of the sector’s administrative workflows and requirements.
A key part of Skovbo Data’s position has been built through its close customer relationships and specialised expertise in the implementation, support, training and ongoing servicing of industry-specific software solutions. Its long-standing presence in the market has given the company a deep understanding of how these solutions are used in practice and has established Skovbo Data as a trusted partner to its customers in their day-to-day administration.
EG is a leading Nordic software company focused on industry-specific solutions. Through the transaction, EG acquires the relevant church services activities, providing a natural platform for the continued servicing and further development of this customer segment.
